Best Serum for mature sensitive skin
Just the greatest product ever for my sensitive, dry, mature skin!!!! Seeing and feeling an improvement in days! I’m almost 70, and have been using exclusively Reclaim products for years. Thought I loved those, but adding this Vitamin C serum is a game changer! The trick with any product is to wet your fingers when applying. It helps with spreading and absorption. This Cerave Vitamin C Serum adds a glow, firmness and hydration I never got with Reclaim’s serum. Skin feels so good. My routine now is mornin and night: Reclaim cleanser (great product), followed by Cerave Vitamin C serum, wait for 10 minutes, then a small amount of Reclaim Day/Night Cream (also great products).So, in conclusion, do not hesitate to add Cerave Vitamin C Serum to your skin care regiment.

Lid is defective
I love this product, but the lid has changed. I cannot for the life of me get the lid back on. Minor flaw that is so frustrating. If they continue making the lids like this I’ll start looking elsewhere for Vit. C.

Good product
After using the product the first couple of days my face was irritated so I was only applying it once every 3 days. My face then started getting used to it and I increased to 5 days and now I use it every day. I see a good improvement with less hyperpigmentation and skin feels a lot smoother. I keep mine away from light and heat. I haven’t seen any oxidation yet when squeezing the serum out of the tube. It also doesn’t make my skin discolored. I used it in the mornings and retinol at nights to get better results. Only thing I didn’t like was when first using it, the serum would continue to flow out at the tip but stopped after the 2nd week. I definitely will continue to purchase this product. Also, the smell didn’t bother me.

A little tribute to this well-loved Vitamin C Serum!

This Vitamin C Serum really surprised me! As you can see from my photo, I squeezed the life out of this tube because I enjoyed it so much!Texture/Application: This has a light, creamy texture and was not as liquidy as most of the serums I use. (See video… and sorry for the moments of fuzziness! My camera didn’t want to focus!) It applies really smoothly, soaks into the skin and lays down nicely under makeup. No pilling or nonsense.Packaging: The active ingredient is L-Ascorbic acid, which is the most unstable form of Vitamin C, so I loved that it’s in an opaque metal tube that helps protect it from both air and light. (It’s a good size too, since l-ascorbic acid doesn’t live long!)Scent and Sensitivity: I think this has a very subtle, honey scent that was really pleasant and not overpowering. It didn’t linger so my face didn’t smell sweet all day. I have mild rosacea and perioral dermititis, so my skin can be sensitive but this didn’t irritate me at all. No redness and no bad reactions.Skin type: I have combination skin (oilier t-zone and drier cheeks) and it was especially nice and moisturizing on the drier parts of my face but didn’t make me look greasy. My guess is that this might be too moisturizing for my t-zone in the summer, but it’s perfect for these dry winter months!Overall impression: I think after two months of use, my skin looks brighter and more even. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it, especially for those with drier skin and people seeking a 10% l-ascorbic acid formula in practical packaging.

Multi product review after wine drunk shopping
Story time!! I’m 30 years old and I’ve always had dry skin, prone to stretch marks, slight translucent, and occasional karatosis Pilaris (red, hard bumps, looks like mild acne on arms, chest, back, and butt, leg’s) . As a teen I never wore shorts because it was embarrassing not to have soft legs. They didn’t look bad, they just were kinda matte even with lotion. Recently I bought Cerave body wash and lotion at the store. My skin looked better, felt better, was so soft and normal. My bumps are gone. After a few glasses of wine I got on Amazon and ordered a bunch of Cerave products to try them out. I got the bar soap, face wash, bumpy skin lotion, bumpy body wash, the dark blue container for extremely dry skin, the pump jar, the day and night cream, and the vitamin C serum. Sober me was happy to see all of these products today. I took a shower and tried different ones and I love them all!!!! No after shower itchy skin from hot water, everything is so soft, no itching or burning from these products. Honestly I’ve bought so much stuff to help me. Even Aveeno gave me dry skin. Lotion, oil, vaseline, homemade natural stuff whipped up in my kitchen, nothing worked. Just from what I got at the store my skin looked like everyone else’s, but tonight it has that extra soft shine without being greasy. Products just soaked right in and my skin feel’s comfortable. Some products go better on damp skin. The moisturizing face wash is great but I used it after using the bar soap to remove makeup. The moisturizing face wash doesn’t foam up, so sometimes you’ll need something extra, but it is super moisturizing. The bar soap is great you have to really work up a lather at first but it’s so gentle, and moisturizing. I used it everywhere and when I got out of the shower I wasn’t dry and itchy, and this is before lotioning!! Night cream over vita C serum feels so good, not greasy vita C serum is thin, night cream is not heavy, soaked in quick face is so soft. Hang tried the day cream yet, but will tomorrow. Go to the drug store and buy a small lotion, if you like it then I highly suggest trying other thing’s, maybe before drinking a half bottle of Moscato. Since I bought so much stuff I’m posting the same comment on the other things I bought.

Top doesn’t close
The prodect itself works well and I really like it. However, this product MUST be stored in an air tight container otherwise the Vit C will oxidize and degrade. The top is completely lacks function. It’s not the typical screw on lid. It had some sort of strange lid process that doesn’t function properly! A simple screw top would work perfectly. I’m not sure how long this product will last due to this issue. I will definitely be looking for another product with function lid.

No more redness!
I turn 40 in just a few days. I’ve always had redness here and there on my face & it has been the main reason I use foundation. After just 1 month, I don’t even need foundation!This before & after is exactly 30 days apart. The redness on the left photos is virtually gone! On the right photos, I colored in my brows (not so well lol) & had on some mascara but absolutely no makeup on my actual skin. I can’t believe the difference in just 1 month!I am a skin care lover and this is my favorite product so far, for it’s noticeable, quick changes. It’s even better than very expensive products that I’ve purchased at dermatologist offices. I only wish that I took a “before” photo of my décolleté too bc I put this all the way down there, as well as on the tops of my hands & I swear my chest looks brighter as well!I don’t go outside or “purposely” tan a lot, but when I do, I get freckles and that leads to “old lady chest” lol and it’s getting better.I love this stuff so very much and never want to run out! I have been using this in combination with tretinoin (just not on the same nights) so it can only get better.This stuff is so great that I don’t even want to “risk” trying a different vitamin C serum, even those that had reviews from people saying that it’s better than this one. I just don’t even believe that another product could produce better results for me than this!On another note: I ran across this by accident a few months ago as I was debating on getting a skin bleaching cream, but I know that those can cause harm sometimes too. At my last freckle/mole checkup, I asked my dermatologist if it was ok to use a skin bleaching cream to brighten my skin or would it cover potential melanoma that needed to be found?Instead of answering me, he suggested I start seeing the aesthetician at the doctor instead. It really rubbed me the wrong way, because I felt like he did not want to answer my question but only sell me services. So I am SO glad I found this! Because I know that vitamin C is safe and I’m not getting my money drained like what the doctor tried to do.Don’t get me wrong—I would LOVE to regularly visit a professional aesthetician, but it’s like he tried to sell services instead of give me a straight (and very simple) answer on what to use to brighten my skin!It works & works quickly!

I love the CeaVe brand for everything
I use CeraVe brand for moisturizers and lotions so when I saw the Vitamin C Serum I had to try. I have actually purchased this previously in the store but then found it a little cheaper online so had to grab it. It came in a package not a box to the tube was crinkled but no holes so that’s good. I love this product I feel likeit really does brightens and plumps the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

AMAZING
I use this every night! I tan very easily but did not get much sun before one summer- got extremely burnt. I was very worried about peeling from sunburn. But used this product and the next morning i couldnt believe the difference in redness/burnt skin i had prior to bed and then waking up with a naturally tan , slightly red face!!! CeraVe changed the tube and the closure. No more orange
After using for years because I love the product, I was always frustrated because the product would turn orange after a couple of weeks. CeraVe must of felt my pain and finally changed the tubing. I think this will help keep it fresh longer. I have had it for a couple of weeks and it has not changed colors yet. If it does, I will update this review.

I absolutely love how my face feels soft smooth and hydrated
I think this is a great product so far, my face is smooth soft and hydrated without having to put daytime moisturizer spf on. I recommend doing it a few times a week at the beginning as it did make my face little red and even put it under eyes no burning or anything so it’s good for sensitive skin. After the first week apply it more often before your moisturizer and after cleanser and should be good. Would be 5 stars if it didn’t make face red but it’s not use to it so I understand somethings will do that so I’m waiting it out but I ABSOLUTELY love how my face feels!! Highly recommend just use only 3 times the first week.

Love the product, not happy with how it was sent.
I love the product, however:I received the package and the product wasn’t packaged in the product’s box, just the tube of Cerave’ in a mailer. It arrived smashed and I would like to request that from now on, it’s packaged a little better for protection, like it used to be.

This is such a great 2 in 1 serum. I was searching for vitamin c and got this one with hyleronic acid. It goes on very smooth and seeps into thw skin pretty quick. One tube is going a long way. Will be buying again.

Personally, i loved the smell, i loved the texture. As most Vitamin C serums do this one also changed color and smell with time. My face did brighten up a bit. However i started getting pimples on my cheek. Personally, not for me.

A great Vitamin C for sensitive skin
I use a vitamin C serum daily. I have the ROC vitamin C and The Ordinary Vitamin c with HA spheres. Those are both good but I find The Ordinary to be too strong to use daily. Not sure if it is the high C content or the addition of the HA spheres ( which I don’t like the feel of.) I use that one maybe once a week and the rest of the time been using the ROC Vitamin C but that seems to be slightly irritating too when used daily. This CeraVe Vitamin C is rated well by dermatologists for sensitive skin. I love how it soaks in right away and does not leave my face sticky. It also has not irritated my skin at all so this is going to be my daily go to from now on.

No box wrinkled package
I don’t know if it was used or just damaged but it came without a box and the outside of the package was wrinkled. This is a replacement for a package that was sent to the wrong address so I’m not complaining. I’m just happy to get the product.

the smell of product had significantly changed
I purchased this product in Amazon before and also in the drug store, it has no smell at all. But this time had strong honey smell and I feel total different what ever the color and thickness. Notice a difference!
This one of few skincare products I actually see a clear difference in my skin. I have been using consistently for close to a month and my skin is actually much more even and less discolored. I thought it would be another skincare product that is super hyped but does nothing but I really can tell a difference. I also have very sensitive skin and didn’t have any problems with irritation. I like the texture a lot too it’s very smooth and soft.

At 61 I’ve been looking for products that might improve my look without any dermatological intervention. Just finishing 1st tube. It hasn’t bothered my sensitive skin so I’ll keep using it. I can’t say I’ve seen radical results in fading my brown spots, but they are no worse. It does give me a bit of an orange tint, but I use it before bed so don’t mind.T he slight scent is tolerable

Leaks and discolors
The product is fine. I’m not sure it’s agreeing with my skin as well as other vitamin c products. But the nozzle does leak and the product does oxidize. Doesn’t hinder the experience that much.. No big deal. I just don’t think this is the best vitamin c for the price. I’ll be shopping for a new one after this tube is gone. It’s lasted me a month so far and it’s still going. Depending on usage you could probably get 2months out of this
