Renews Skin
I’ve been using this for about a month & have noticed that the marks on my cheeks are less pronounced. I had done a skin peel in July which removed the majority of the marks but couldn’t afford to do a follow up peel. This line of products came highly recommended by a friend and it actually works. The marks have not disappeared BUT: they have faded significantly. My skin looks supple and healthy. Is gentle for my sensitive skin: no reactions. I use it every night along with the night cream. I suggest waiting about 5 minutes before applying the latter as I noticed a VERY SUBTLE burning which lasted a couple seconds. It is not a fading cream: it gently exfoliated with continuous use (in my opinion) and I use along with the Skin Renewing Day Cream with Sunscreen for day time use

Skin feels refreshed
Many studies have shown that alpha-hydroxy acids, such as glycolic acid and lactic acid, are great for exfoliating and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I got this product to try it out and I definitely see a difference in how radiant my skin looks. After a few weeks of using this, my skin just looks better and feels tighter. Overall, my skin just looks healthy. I also like that it contains ceramides, which are useful in keeping skin moisturized. I’m a huge fan of CeraVe skin care products and this one does not disappoint.

Works, but…
I’ve used this once. I noticed the next morning my skin looked especially fresh, clear, more radiant. Going on it stung, especially to my eyes. I immediately went in with my rose water mist and snail mucin and moisturizer and it calmed my skin down immediately. I definitely would not use this with actives like retinol unless your skin is really tough and I cannot imagine daily. I’m going for once a week for now and seeing if my skin acclimates and I can use more frequently.

EDIT:Dear cerave…… PA LEASE STOP Changing the formula in the bottle. This is all I use. Don’t change a good thingIt’s entirely TOO SOON (only 4 days 🙂 to tell if this works, but what I will say, is, this is the best texture and feeling of any kind of facial product I have ever put on my face in 42 years!!!!! It’s like silk that absorbs soooo well and Leaves your skin feeling like a babies bottom. I use it in the morning as well. And when I use it in the evening, I wake up and my skin just looks so pretty. I can’t explain it. I am a forever customer and they better never get rid of this.

Hydrating
I didnt expect this to be as hydrating as it is! It was a pleasant surprise. I wanted a wrinkle treatment but didn’t need anything as powerful as retinol. This is perfect. It does make me face slightly warm a few minutes after I put it on, but its not painful or burning. Just a tad warm. I use it every other day and love it.

New Essential
First impression: close to no scent, the cream is smooth and lightweight — one pump is enough for the entire face.This stuff has cleared up my skin overnight. I was using a glycolic acid toner for a while and it helped my skin with dark spots but I really wanted to find something that helped with texture as well. This is the perfect blend and my skin is glowing after two nights of use. It completely smoothed out my forehead and left my face feeling plump and moisturized.My skin is combination sensitive so I did a lot of research before committing to this product and I’m so happy I did. I refuse to go on without it.

DOESN’T IRRITATE MY SKIN, BUT DOESN’T DO MUCH.
I’ve avoided exfoliating products at my dermatologist’s suggestion, since I have thin, fair, sun-sensitive skin. Since the dermatologist retired who would zap something without a separate and costly cosmetic appt, I’m exploring other options. Post Covid-19 shutdown, I have developed Milia on my chin and cheek, where I sweated with sunscreen under a mask. I also have the recurring dark spot on the driver’s side of my face, and a couple on my forehead, despite wearing sunscreen. The new dermatologist wants to charge me $450 to remove the dark spots, and milia would be a separate appt!!! No wonder the only old people with good skin have money! SPF 50 sunscreen no longer prevents all skin problems.I’m thrilled that this Cerave exfoliating product is truly fragrance free, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do much of anything for me. I only use it at bedtime, since the sun can irritate my skin without any help. I started using it every 2-3 days, then every night, since my skin wasn’t irritated. I’ve used it on dark spots and milia for about 2months, with no results. Bummer! I had high hopes.

I have only used the product 3 days, which is the reason of 4 star rating this far, I do feel the moisturizing effects even after routinely daily face washings, I’ve never had sensitive skin, plus this product hasn’t caused any either. The scent is faint and mild. The product smothers on nicely and doesn’t take much. I ofcourse haven’t noticed or expected any changes this far and so it’s still under my review time. I could review after a 10-20 day trial if any changes are noticed or 30 for a fair timeline. I also don’t publish pictures or videos unless I do notice a positively far results.

Tried CeraVe moisturizer and now I’m hooked!!
CeraVe is now the only skin product in my house! It’s not oily. You can feel the moisturizer on your skin for hours without it being annoying or obtrusive; just well hydrated AND is the only product that showed results on by crepe skin that I tried! The facial soap is not harsh and the exfoliant is gentle and effective. For me, all in all, just a great product!

Good for sensitive skin
I cannot express enough how much I love this product. I’ve been using it for about a year now and I actively see a difference in my skin looking dull and textured when I don’t use it. When I do use it, my skin is brighter, smoother and more hydrated. I have decently sensitive skin too and it does not bother me.

I tried CeraVe facial products as they were less expensive than what I was using. I found that they didn’t absorb into my skin as completely as my usual product. I thought perhaps exfoliation would help but this exfoliating formulation really was of no help. I certainly won’t purchase these products again.

I should have looked at the glycolic percentage- I passed that level a long time ago. BUT- I’m sure it is a good product for those just starting out on daily glycolic renewal creams. I should have checked during the return window.

It works!
I have crazy dry skin. Like it feels like sandpaper sometimes. Until I started using this. I also have sensitive skin. Some shampoos burn my scalp and face. This didn’t do that. I used this product at night before bed and used rosehip oil on top. Holy moly was I surprised. Dry skin just started rolling off. It was a site to behold. And underneath was soft supple glowing skin. I can definitely see a difference to my skin. Over time less skin comes off and my skin just stays soft and supple. Mind you, I am 42. I didn’t take a before and after. I guess I should have. Im not sure about the wrinkles, since I didn’t purchase it for that purpose. The one thing I don’t like is the smell. It smells like maple syrup to me. Kinda off putting. But it works so I can get past the smell.

A game changer!
Going through the change of life has totally changed my skin. As a result, I was having awful breakouts and super dry redness. I decided to give this a try. I wish I would’ve taken before and after photos because the results were amazing. My skin cleared up in a week. I’ve been using this for a few months now on my super sensitive skin, and it has been so good for it. I highly recommend it.

Works in some ways
I originally bought this wanting to address sun damage on my forehead, I’m in my early 40s. I’ve been using it for about a month, and don’t notice a change as far as the sun damage goes. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that within the first few days of use, this really moisturized my super combination skin. I have an oily forehead and nose and easily develop flakes all over my face, even the oily zones, so it’s always been a struggle for me to find something that sort of evens all of this out. My face looks more moisturized and slightly dewy and feels soft, with a slightly more even all over tone. For this reason, I will definitely continue using, as I’ve never had a facial product make this amount of difference.

Love this night cream/lotion for summer! Since it is very lightweight, it has a cooling effect and does not feel heavy like most night creams. It does a great job of smoothing your skin and reducing the look of fine lines. I sound like a commercial but it’s true!!

Amazing product!
I purchased this expecting to be a little underwhelmed but I am so happy I bought it. My skin was becoming a little textured after discontinuing physical exfoliants, so I wanted to try an affordable chemical exfoliant. This one is gentle yet super effective, after 2-3 uses I have noticed a huge difference with no negative side effects! I naturally have sensitive skin and this one doesn’t bother me at all, I highly recommend!

Amazing stuff! Definitely burns…
My skin looks terrible ever since I turned 40. Perimenopause has set in, and I’m getting hormonal breakouts all along my chin and jaw line. They’re hard, cystic, and stubborn to treat. I’ve seen people raving about lactic acid and niacinamide on social media, so I got this and the CeraVe moisturizing face wash. This stuff BURNS if you have any acne marks or abrasions, but by the next morning they’re healing!It’s extremely gentle. I used another product with lactic acid in it previously, but noticed a lot of drying and peeling after a few days. I haven’t experienced that with nightly use. My skin looks glowing, more radiant, FIRMER, and my tone is evening out. No changes to dark spots (yet). I have less bumps, no new breakouts, less redness, and more hydration. I’m using it alongside a peel by The Ordinary (the dark red one) and my skin hasn’t looked this good in years! Even though there’s added hydration, I still need to buy a simple, basic moisturizer; I’ll look at CereVe since my skin likes this.UPDATE: I took my skincare routine one step further and got a different cleanser. If you suffer from hormonal acne like me, try zinc soap (but look for Pyrithione Zinc, usually 1-2%). I got a bar of it on Amazon, and I swear these two products together have been life changing. Hello clear skin!!!Hope this helps. 😉

Not very effective for KP
I bought this treatment to relieve my KP on my triceps due to the glycolic lactid blend; however, I noticed no improvement of the keratosis pilaris in the weeks that I used this. I found much better success from the First Aid Beauty KP lotion. They both have the lactic acid but the FAB version was much more effective (also more expensive).

Keeps blemish at bay on mid-50s skin
I was searching for a new glycolic acid product (my old one was discontinued) and originally purchased this in-store; this is my second product. I think it too my skin a few times to adapt to this, but now I use it near-daily with no issues. I definitely helps to keep my still-oily mid-50s skin blemish-free. I’m not sure if it helps with wrinkles, etc., but I’m often told I have a good complexion, so the combination of what I am doing seems to be working. I would recommend this.
