A good addition to my skincare bundle
I have definitely seen improvements in my skin using this retinol cream, however, it does cause my skin to purge. I would get little breakouts but it does clear up. I noticed a difference in my skin tone within 5 weeks; my dark marks were reduced slightly. I would pair this with a sunscreen.

This Stuff is Great – Visible Difference in No Time!
I am 65 years old and still have large pores and oily skin. Within a couple days of applying this at night, I could see a very noticeable difference in the size of the pores on my nose. Pores are no longer clogged with oil! Overall, my ruddy skin looks more refined.It’s a bit drying on my skin in the winter, but not a problem for me. I wish I had discovered this product decades ago!

Easy to use/ Use with Petroleum Jelly
This has done wonders; I’ve been using it for a while, so it’s always been the go-to tool. I highly recommend it. Highly recommend to anyone new!!!!!!!! Best one in the market. Also, make sure to use sunscreen outside, petroleum jelly as the base of your apple, and another layer on top after the retinol application. I use this at night. Good Luck

Effective for beginners
I have a sensitive, combination skin type and this doesn’t irritate my skin and it didn’t break me out. I have been using this for over a month now. But it did not help with minimizing pores yet cuz maybe in 6 months we’ll see.

Gentle on my skin and works!
I’ve had this for a few months and it’s the 1st retinol I’ve used. I have combination skin but not sensitive so I put 3 ⭐️. It doesn’t have a smell and has the texture of a light lotion. A derm dr said this one vs the purple bottle was the better one. I use it 2-3 times a wk. I’ve noticed a difference especially when my skin is hydrated. I use vit C on the other days. FYI: you can also combine w/ hylauronic acid but NOT Niacinimide Make sure to wear sunscreen when using this! I’d definitely recommend and will continue to use.

Its already starting to work
I’d give it 4.5 stars if it were possible. I have super sensitive facial skin, so I did get red, irritated and started to lightly peel and it stung to wash my face but despite that, I do like this stuff. Been using it intermittently (to help ease irritation) for about 2 weeks and it already seems to be easier to get my makeup to look smooth and the darker, older zit marks seem to be fading

Game changer for texture and complexion
I have been using this serum for the last few weeks along with vitamin c and my face has never been more radiant. I finally found something that really improved the overall texture.I do find the serum can be a bit drying but nothing that can’t be fixed with a hydrating moisturizer.

It does what it says, you just have to be consistent
I’m finally giving this a review after using up my first bottle and I actually reordered my second one. That’s how much I like it. I have sensitive skin and I hate the feeling of residual residue on my skin, especially on my face after applying anything (hence why I rarely wear make up). I’m in my early 40s and noticed that I’ve been getting sun spots (which I like to think are “freckles”) on my checks which were never there before. I don’t buy anything before reading reviews or doing research on it. had enough position info on it that I took the chance.Price was decent for the amount. One pump goes along way and does cover the entire face and under my chin area. Very light feel on the skin and absorbs fairly fast. No linger smell/fragrance, which is a huge plus for me! No irritation or side effects, but do note that if you exfoliate or cleanse your face too often then applying this there will be a slight burning sensation (because this did happen to me) and it does go away in a few mins. I used to use this everyday right after I shower in the evening, but I upped it to morning and evening. Remember to put on some sort of sunblock. Follow its instructions.I like the results that it’s giving me. My face looks more even, toned, moisturized, and my pores seem to have diminished a little in appearance since I first used it. I don’t get little dry patches on skin on my checks anymore due to the harsh water here in Houston, TX. Again, it’s really based on your skin routine, how consistent you are, how well you follow its instructions, and be realistic with your expectations. Overall, I like the product very much and will continue to use it so I hope it never gets discontinued 🙂

I have aging skin and have tried a number of retinol products, including a prescription Tretinoin cream. Each was to strong and left my skin dry, flaky and dull, even when I reduced usage.This product is gentle enough to use daily and my skin is exfoliated without the dry, flakiness. I even see a renewed “glow”. I will purchase it again

Good product but did not do what I was hoping for
It’s a good product, but not for what J was hoping for. I originally bought it because I heard that Vitamin C as well has retinol helps get rid of acne scars. My main problem with my acne scars is the color more than the texture. I had been using the ROC’s vitamin C serum before this and it worked WONDERS but I ran out of the sample size so I looked into this product because if you know about ROC, it’s that their products are EXPENSIVE HOLLY COW. Amazing for the skin but I am NOT paying $49.99 for a 1 oz bottle. So I turned to this product instead. It does not help with the pigmentation of the scars but it helps with skin texture by promoting the growth of new skin cells. I would recommend it if you wanted to smooth out your skin texture, but not for something like hyper pigmentation. I also noticed that I got some slight peeling at the apples of my checks when wearing this product but I think it might have been from putting too much product on. I’ve also known that if you put too much of the serum on is that it will start to slightly burn your face and make it slightly irritated. It’s is also advised tk wear sunscreen with this product as well (I think it’s because it can make the skin more sensitive). But all in all, it’s a good product, it’s lightweight, smooth, not sticky, and it helps moisturize. I can also tell that it will last a long time because a little goes a long way, I would say that I use a little under a pump each time I use it.

It’s Helping- Smoothing Rough Texture & Pores
I had oily skin as a teenager and young adult and now that I have much more mature skin I still have the aftermath of large pores and some shallow acne scars from those earlier years. They kind of create a rough texture that I would like to smooth out. This product contains retinol which can be beneficial to minimizing pores. Since I was new to this product I started out gradually to let my skin adjust–using it just several times a week at first with a day or two between uses. Then every other day for awhile. I apply it at night after removing all makeup and washing my face. I make sure my face is thoroughly dry before applying a thin layer of retinol product. The product comes in a solid plastic pump container. I find two pumps is sufficient to cover my face. Sometimes retinol can cause some flushing for first time users if this happens back off for awhile. I haven’t experienced any issues, but then I built up my tolerance gradually. It absorbs pretty quickly. I will let it set on my skin for awhile and sometimes apply a dye-free, fragrance-free moisturizer to drier areas. Again that is just me you may or may not opt or need to do that. I rinse or wash off the retinol product in the morning and apply sunscreen to protect my skin. I have pretty much gone through my first container and re-ordered a 2nd container of product. I find that it has helped to minimize my pores some and my skin looks somewhat smoother. My tinted sunscreen and makeup go on smoother and don’t settle in my pores as much. I hope with continued use my skin will just get better. It takes patience sometimes and just remember depending on skin type results can vary. I hope some of this information is beneficial.

I’ve had this for about a month and it’s gentle enough for me to use multiple times a week without any kind of weird reaction.Most importantly, my skin is looking absolutely amazing! There is a genuinely visible difference to my skin texture! I was shocked. I’ve had these three weird bumps on my face for years and they’ve shrunk significantly. My overall skin tone and texture is so much more even!I haven’t noticed a difference in wrinkles, but I’m not really looking closely at that.It does dry my skin a tiny bit, but nothing crazy, no flaking or anything!So happy with this

Gentle
I am new to retinol. This is gentle. I have 68 year old skin. I would say my skin is normal. This goes on nicely. I used every night for about 10 days and my damage spots became more noticeable. My skin was a little more dry after washing in the morning. I decided I needed to start a little more slowly because of the increased redness of my age spots. They tell you not to use every day when you start. But of course you want to push the limits to get faster results. I stopped for a week and my spots went back to normal. I will resume and use three times a week and see how it goes. You just have to figure out your skin’s tolerance.

Great for sensitive skin!!
I’ve been using it for about a month and I can see a big difference in my skin. Dark spots have faded away and my pores on my nose have gotten smaller and I don’t break out as much while on it. I have very white sensitive skin so starting out I only used the retinol 3 times a week. But now that we are getting into the hotter months my skin is not as irritated and dry so I switched to every night. You MUST wear sunscreen on your face when using this product otherwise you’ll be damaging your skin. CeraVe has a daily face moisturizer with 15 SPF that is a perfect combo with this serum. I recommend only using it at night before bed. My night routine is wash face in shower then make sure your face is dry then apply the retinol, let it soak into your skin for about 15-20min then apply a moisturizer. Overall, great product and give it some time to work!

This is good
I’ve had not experienced any problems with it. The bottle with pump (?) is great for delivery. Love that it gives the right amount. Soaks in within an hour and I don’t worry about my pillowcase. I wake up with normal feeling skin and happy I wore it to bed. I don’t know if it has a moisturizer in it or not. I don’t really need moisturizer but I have a separate one just in case.

The first step if you want to try retinol
This was my first step to get into the retinol world, I finished the whole bottle without any kind of irritation, after that I start with .25% tretinoid, so if you want to take the first step into Vitamin A active, this is the best option.
